Screen Pictures

When I take a screenshot using Command + Shift + 3 ( or 4 ) - it saves the file to the desktop, but as a PNG file format.

I seem to recall there was a program that would set the default screenshot format to JPG.

Anyone know what it is?

Use Terminal.

Use Onyx. You can choose where to save the pic and what format to save it in.
