Anyone ever used an iPad or MacBook screen protector as a mouse pad? I like the look of my desk, it just has a slight texture that makes moving a mouse on it loud enough to be annoying. However, the mouse pads I look at are just not appealing, overpriced, not smooth, and won't stay in place usually. The closest one I found was the Razer Atlas tempered glass but it's huge. Thinking about using an iPad/MacBook screen protector since it's clear so it would blend in well (not sure about bubbles), minimal height, comes in various sizes, it's glass, and the adhesive should allow it to stay in place without damaging the desk if I decide to remove it.

Sounds goofy but might be fun to experiment at least ha.
