I’m having no issues at all with Face ID or camera using a full screen protector. Everything working perfectly and it looks much better than with a cutout.

By checking this thread I've return my notch screen protector lol.

Re-ordered couple full screen one, waiting for black trim.

Do you use True Tone? If so they’re known to mess with true tone, if not then usually they’re fine

Why would they mess up True Tone? I just got some ESR full screen protectors, but I haven’t opened them yet. If it messes up True Tone, I may return them.

So... is anyone gonna post some pictures of what the phone looks like with the screen protector? ;)

I use True Tone and haven’t had any issues with it.

I use the ESR ones as well and in my experience I’ve never had a problem with them.

I’ve started using the edge to edge screen protector since my iPhone X when I got a big micro scratch in the notch area after using the one with a notch cutout. I continued to use one on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’ve never had any issues with FaceId or selfies. You can hardly tell it’s there.

installed my ESR screen protector the minute the phone came out of the box. took 20 seconds and it pretty much laid itself down perfectly from bottom to top.

The glass just makes True Tone either go too yellow or barely work at all.

I’ve used esr and theirs messes with True Tone but not as bad as others.

I do find on occasion a full screen protector does cause issues with Face ID although it’s rare.

I got myself the Belkin Screen Protector from Apple for the iP12 Pro... but disappointed it doesn’t go right to the edges... not sure why that is...? Anyone know?

I use the cut out ones because even though people say it doesn't affect facial recognition or camera, I can imagine it must decrease the quality of the camera somewhat, and that's the main thing I use the phone for besides messaging. I usually have the apple store install the Belkin, but after reading that some machines were scratching the phones, I decided to try installing it myself. It was super easy, and I usually have difficulties.
