Hey guys so which screen protector are you buying for your iPhone 7 Plus ahead of time? I usually buy the spigen crystal clear one, that's the one I have installed on my iPhone 6S but I have to say that it scratches rather easily as I have a few visible scratches on the screen protector, not sure if it's a quality issue on spigen's manufacturing end but I remember their screen protectors being stronger in the past

Looks like any iPhone 6 screen protector will work? I too want one before I get my iPhone 7+.

i know i'm NOT getting one that sits in the middle of the screen like the one in the above pictures.... had one with my 6S+ and took it off... hated it!

techarmor screen protector for iphone 7 and 7 plus are out on amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JJLKZFU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Those were absolutely horrid on the 6s/6s+ phones! we took ours off and returned them! they sat in the middle of the phone like a lump (look the same in the pictures on amazon) and the edges all raised. there was a huge thread about them... lots of dislike!

AND there's no need for the home button cutout like these have. not buying... i'm waiting for something decent to come out!

i had a spigen one on my iphone 6S for close to a year now and it also, sits in the middle portion of the screen and is just fine for me, it does scratch easily over time though, never had an issue with the edges raising up or any problem of that sort, if youre looking for an edge to edge screen protector then that is not the protector for you, you'll probably need a wet application protector..

but im a big fan of film screen protectors, much prefer them over glass ones, and tech armor seems to be the first one to release one specific for the iphone 7,

Best Skins Ever make some really great stuff, IMO. Their screen protector is fantastic. Case friendly back protector + full front protector is the way to go.

BSE is available for preorder now. They're also running a 25% off promo which is automatically applied at checkout. I prefer glass for the screen but always purchase their matte protectors for the body of the phone.

Is their "glossy" screen protector for the iphone 7 plus a wet application screen protector?

I concur! I always order their matte back body protection!...Just ordered a back protector for my 7 and 7 Plus.

Yes, BSE is wet application for both screen and body.

they have 2 types of the glossy variation, one is a case friendly front screen protector which only covers the "Flat" part of the front of the iphone's screen without going out to the edges and the other im assuming is a full front protector? they are both wet application?

Yes, they are both wet application. They have another line, Kolorit, that does not require water/solution to apply.

ill have to pass, not a fan of wet applications , i have a tech armor dry application iphone 7 plus screen protectors being delivered today from amazon,

Why is anyone still using 2d protectors when there are plenty of 3d's at nearly the same price.

Because 3d screen protectors make the screen look like crap and make the screen thicker, can't stand that look it gives the phone with a raised up glass front, 2D Screen protecors are excellent and you cant even tell its installed when properly installed

They do? I never noticed. Perhaps you are buying thick ones.

Ok, Lets try this another one, Which 3d screen protector do you consider "thin" and would recommend? they all add a layer of height to the front glass

On the Tech Armor Glass Protector the earpiece opening is longer and wider than the earpiece on the 6S. I don't have a 6 Plus, but I believe its the same as the 6. So I do not believe the 6 Plus protectors will work.
[doublepost=1473551024][/doublepost]I saw on Amazon an Illumishield glass protector for the 7 Plus. In the description it said it also fits the 6 Plus. I ordered it and then saw the Tech Armor. It was so inexpensive so I ordered it also. The length and width of the cutout for the earpiece/speaker on the Tech Armor is greater than the Illumishield. The Illumishield opening is the same as my 6S.

For example?
