Hi everyone,

Hi everyone,

I just picked up the iPhone 17 Pro Max and I’m torn between two styles of screen protectors. I’m hoping to get some feedback from those who have lived with both.

I’m looking at the screen protector which have the "full coverage" design with the integrated speaker mesh/grill, versus the standard Classic style that just has a physical cutout/notch for the speaker.

A few specific concerns:

Audio Quality: For those using full coverage with the mesh/grill, does it noticeably muffle the top speaker during calls or when watching videos? Is there any "hissing" or distortion at high volumes?

Dust Accumulation: For those using the open cutout (the "notch" style), how bad is the dust buildup in the speaker earpiece? Is it a pain to clean out, or does the cutout actually make it easier to get a brush in there?

The "Look": Does the black-bordered full coverage glass really blend in better, or is it more prone to lifting at the edges compared to the basic clear cutouts?

I use the full screen protector. Make sure you leave enough room for the top speaker. I initially had mine too high and the sound quality on a phone call was not great. I readjusted and now its crystal clear and loud.
