Clarify- I did remove and install myself.

I was actually referring to the convenience of purchasing them at the retail Apple Store so they would available for my use immediately vs ordering online and waiting a few days to arrive.

Ah, gotcha. I usually order mine well in advance before getting the new phone.

I've had the amfilm one mentioned earlier. I think it is really high quality for the price. Looks like right now it's on sale for $1.99

Here's the no residue product I bought at the Retail Apple Store compared to other places.

http://store.apple.com/us/product/HE503ZM/A/power-support-anti-glare-film-for-iphone-5s-and-iphone-5 ($17.95 + tax)

Guess, Apple did a little retail markup, but it's only $3.00 for in person convenience.

Interesting. Doesn't have many reviews though. I always support the underdog companies, though.

My phone was recently replaced, so I had to get a new screen protector.

I opted for the Tech Armor glass for the best balance between name brand support and price. I'm not gonna pay $30 for what I see as a sacrificial item that will likely have to be replaced again.

At .33mm, it's not the thinnest, nor is it the thickest, but the rounded edges are nice.

I hope not to have to test what the "Lifetime" warranty means.

Installation was simple and trouble-free, using the provided wipe/cloth/tape. They don't advocate it, but I think the "hinge" method and some canned air are very worthwhile.
