I’m one of those few iPad Pro users that always uses a glass screen protector. Does anyone know which companies have a protector already available for purchase for the new 12.9” iPad Pro? I’ve been searching far and wide but no luck so far.

Cheers!

I got a cheap one from Amazon. They have heaps. It's not terrible and there are no bubbles but I've had better ones. It also seems to mess with the touch sensitivity a bit. I'll probably keep it on until the decent brands sell one. Brand's called Geemee, and they don't seem to sell it on amazon.com (got mine from amazon.de). But I assume all the cheap ones like this come out of the same factory anyway.

Ok glad it’s not just me noticing the touch sensitivity problem. It’s pretty annoying but I thought it was my iPad.

EDIT: found a non glass one on amazon that I’ll use until the good companies get their protectors out.

I’ve seen protectors with a tiny opening for the small indented circle next to the front facing cameras.

Does anyone know what that small circle is? Is it the mic? So would we need protectors with the small opening?

I bought one from Amazon ,with the small hole and it's lined up quite well. says camera is covered. Any suggestions? Can I put the hole at the bottom?

So it lines up with the small indented mic?

Why do you want to turn it upside down and have the hole at the bottom?

So I’ve been reading that the new iPads can’t take full coverage screen protectors and it makes Face ID stop working.

Is this everyone’s experience?

I wonder why we can get full coverage screen protectors for iPhone X and XS with no effects on Face ID but the new iPads can’t have a full coverage protector in front of it?

I bought one for my 11 that has no holes at all...it’s a full sheet of glass...no issues with camera or sensors. I like TechArmor, but they will have a notch in their’s. Wish they didn’t.

It messes with touch sensitivity a bit, but okay for now. Will get a better one once they are released.

I'm pretty loyal to amFilm for all my screen protectors - I bought their new one (with notch cutout on top) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JQ9VD41 for mine. I've used them for my iPhone 7, 8, and now XR, and I've been very happy with all of them. It says it'll ship on 11/14, so I'll come back with my review once I get mine.

Just installed Omoton protector that I had purchased from Amazon (though it looks like they are sold out at the moment). No issues with Face ID and no touch issues.

Mind sharing info on the background? Looks awesome.

Bought the spigen screen protector and have had no issue

Really? The Spigen glass one? My Face ID continually failed and the touch sensitivity was terrible. Over on Reddit there is a thread that makes it seem that no glass protectors work well at the moment. They may have changed something in the display.

If I put again a screen protector on it, then I will go with this one here:

https://paperlike.com

Especially for drawing, it is a super feeling! But of course the screen quality is no longer so brilliant.

(had it on my 10,5" and it was amazing)

I think its unecessary with the new iPad Pros. The new Pencil tip has been made matte and already has a great feel vs the old one

Yesterday I looked at Spigen's website and they didn't have a screen protector for the 3rd gen iPad Pro. So if you got one, it will most likely have a cutout for the home button.

I have an Orzero one on my 11 and there are touch sensitivity issues, Face ID seems ok (but not perfect), and apparently there's a mic in the Face ID camera package now, so that hole is covered. I'll be checking out the amFilm one next, since it has a notch.

I'm about ready to take the cheaper one off of my iPad. The touch sensitivity issues are random, but they are ANNOYING. There's no rhyme or reason to zones or ever pressure. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I hope some company figures it out. I hate taking the risk of scratches on the screen. (I sell the last version to upgrade when I'm able to.) Well...that and the fact that scratches annoy me, too.
