Screen protectors with alignment guide can damage the phone?

Those plastic alignment guides can damage the phone sides when attached to the phone like scratching the stainless steel sides? Im always afraid of using them but i know if don’t use it the alignment will be terrible

Think about it for a minute. Plastic scratching stainless steel? Don't believe everything you read. Just like you don't have to believe me when I tell you that I used a plastic alignment frame on my new iPhone 13 Pro and it didn't leave any type of mark. Just my personal experience.

Unless it is tempered plastic with titanium

I have put 10 plus screen protectors on my families phone with the plastic guides, they work great and did not scratch any of the iPhones

Nope! It’s the other way around. Your iPhone can damage the plastic guide. Haha

Plastic vs stainless steel Ya dude there no chance unless you rub rocks on the plastic frame. Been doing installs for years with the frames and they are a godsend.
