I am the guru of screen protectors in my family and pride myself on superb installations. I have tried most out there including the sapphire Shellrus. With all that I have tried, the best I’ve found are Mothca if you want a matte anti glare and FloLab if you prefer clear. Both are easy to install and have great anti smudge oleophobic coatings. Highly recommend either depending on your preference.

I started out with an "Amplify" from Otterbox last November on my 13 Pro.
First smartphone, first protector.
Nice protector, but I found their installation tool cumbersome and inefficient.
Easier to install by hand without the tool.
Their warranty is liberal & generous.
They sent a replacement for one gone bad from botched installation process, and another when a crack appeared.
For a $50 protector, it SHOULD be a liberal & generous warranty policy.
Their profit margin must be HUGE!

Then I tried the iCarez protector from Amazon @ 3 for $5.00.
Excellent installation tool, and quite frankly I can't sense much difference between the $50 protector
and the $1.60 protector.

I'd be extremely reluctant to pay a premium price for another screen protector in the future.

My pet peeve is the smudges. I change my protector when the oleophobic starts showing smudges. Both the Mothca anti glare and the FloLab are extremely good with anti fingerprints.

I don't use any tempered glasses cause they always crack within a month or 2 so I installed a film screen guard from Gadgetshieldz which is good with touch sensitivity, can self-heal the scratches, and can be good as new for many months! I got the full body protector and a clear case that covers the screen edges so the phone is fully protected. I dropped my phone 4-5 times and nothing happened to the phone cause the edges of the screen were covered!

I just get the Belkin screen protector that Apple installs with help from their machine. Gets a perfect install every time. However, last year did not use any on my 13 Pro and screen is still in great shape.

Same here. I haven’t paid more than $20 for screen protectors in years. I usually get a 2 or 3 pack for around $12 to $15. I do not see the difference between the cheap and expensive protectors. I’m pretty sure they are all made at the same factory! LOL!

I’ve been really happy with the Spigen protector on my 13 mini so I will probably just stick with them.

I’ve always used ESR and they’re perfect but the don’t seem to be available on Amazon now for some reason.

The screen protector from Spigen looks blue on the edges. Is it really colored and not clear?

Yeah I remember that being in the pictures I would imagine its just for marketing so you can see the edges. There is no color at all on the protectors and it has a nice curved edge.
