I'm in need of a freeware or open source screen recording application. I've have tried both Copernicus and Jing. Copernicus has no audio support and likes to record very choppy videos. Jing has a strange use interface and I can't even seem to find the videos I create. As for iShowU and Snapz Pro, those are out of the question. I don't really plan on getting into weekly video recordings. I also don't want to spend $20 on a program I'll only use once. I've tried the demos, and iShowU has this watermark the size of an elephant, and Snapz Pro has a user interface as complex as the Death Star control center. I just want to record a quick video! I know that there has to be some freeware or open source program out there that I'm missing. It seems to always be that way.
