Screen Recording

Hi, just wondering if someone can help me.

I play World of Warcraft on my mac and have tried to do screen recordings of some gameplay. I have used the Quicktime Player app to try and do this.

The problem is the screen flickers in the video that is recorded and the video is unwatchable. I have tried turning the graphics settings in game to the lowest as I thought it may be the graphics card being unable to cope.

Is it that I have something set up wrong? Should I be using a different app (free hopefully)? Or is it that the graphics card is not up to the job?

The WoW client has a built in recorder. check the mac options within the game.

ishowu is an application that has a WOW setting. They have a free demo but the app is about 30 buck. I think it's well worth it.
