Hey guys, I’m hoping one of you can help solve a mystery i’ve been having with my iPhone. Open till recently, even when my portrait orientation lock was off, if I kept rotating in one direction, the screen rotation would stop once it got to landscape. This was great for say reading something while laying on my side. With the latest iOS update, it just keeps rotating beyond landscape and becomes an upside down portrait, if that makes any sense. Is there any way to get it so that it doesn’t go beyond landscape like before?

I just checked my iPhone 8 on 13.2.2. If I turn rotation lock off and start rotating the phone, at some point it will rotate to horizontal and stay there even if I rotate it farther than 90°. If I keep rotating it (starting to go upside down) it'll eventually flip 180° to landscape orientation on the other side. But it will never rotate just 90° to portrait mode when the phone is at an off angle 45° or so.
It works more logically and less annoyingly than it does on iOS 9
