Is anyone else having the issue with their new 6s Plus with closing apps and your home screen being rotated to landscape despite your phone being in portrait? Sometimes it will go ahead and rotate correcting itself, but sometimes it gets stuck and I have to physically rotate the phone to correct it.

I've tried putting on the rotation lock, but then when it happens, you can't change it from landscape without turning off the lock again.

Is there a solution other than reseting settings?

I reset all settings (but not all content) and my phone got stuck. Had to recover on iTunes just now. I'd wait for a fix or try something else.

I have the same problem on my 6 plus and my girlfriends. Leave an app on landscape and the phone won't go back to portrait unless I click out of the folder or change pages.been doing it since ios9 and I'm on 9.0.2

I reset the phone completely and set it up as new without iTunes. The orientation works now like it's supposed to.

Mine has been doing this also and is a pain. Also because of this it doesn't see it is in portrait mode and I have to rotate to landscape and back and is very annoying.

I had to Reset All Settings on my 6s Plus, de-pair my Apple Watch then re-pair it. It was a major pain but it seems to have helped. It's still very sensitive compared with the 6 Plus, especially reverting back from horizontal.
