Screen Rotation Lock slider... mutes my ipad!?

When I slide it downward, the Ipad mutes... I don't think it's supposed to do that is it?

Is this a configurable option? Or did Apple miss the Rotation Lock 'rework' in mfg??

Try turning your iPad off or resetting it to factory settings, if they don't work I dot know what you should do.

Back in janurary apple originally said it was a mute lock switch, but then they quietly changed it to a screen rotation lock before launch, it seems to be that somehow you got an iPad with the older firmware
My guess is that whenever apple releases the update🙂mad🙂 it will change to screen rotation lock

Or you can wait ten years and it will probably become a collectors item😎
