and reboot...and then we will see thanks all.

“O’Reilly” is not the screensaver...iTunes Artwork is...and it’s just just showing a snapshot of the artwork of what’s in your podcasts in iTunes. So to remove them you have to remove them from iTunes.

I don’t see the issue myself, as you don’t have to use that (or any) screensaver if you don’t want to.

the only issue is ..I don't want it and I didn't load it...and I cannot delete it...if I was adept enough to find it in the library I could get rid of it..in other words it wont delete --no option to delete or move to the trash..(that I can find)--folks loading crap on my gear without my approval IS an issue--to me...but your right I can and did choose another one...and I did --nevertheless iTunes artwork is there and I don't want it there. and I did remove the o'Rielly podcast from itunes I also did not load them...at least knowingly.--Thanks for your comments actually I was hopeful someone would assist me the 4 or 5 steps to remove it from the library...I am not that good with this stuff....but have a generic understanding -the bit twiddleing sometimes gets unproductive for me ...again, thank you-

Okay, I'll try to help - although the first result in a google search told me what I believe is your answer.

Remember though, you did install the screensaver...when you installed the OS as it's one of MacOS's built-in screensavers...you may have not wanted it, but there's no option to exclude it when the OS is installed.

To remove built-in screensavers, you need to remove them from the built-in screensavers folder [defaul location is /System/Library/Screen Savers/] (to get there go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder... then enter '/System/Library/Screen Savers/') , where you should see the following screensavers already...

...the one you want to delete is 'iTunes Artwork.saver'.

Thank you very much yes of course that is it and I knew it just could not find it. and still am bewildered why it cannot be deleted trashed etc from itunes or the other place in preferences...nevertheless I knew it could be yanked from the library just don't have much familiarity with doing stuff that way --usually works the above ways I mentioned --thank you so much really p' me off when I cant figure, guess, this stuff on my own. thanks.again--I have been hunting for it didn't realize you could be specific and it would pop up. duh...
