Screen Saver Stuck

At least 3 times a day my MacBook Air, purchased on 1/9/2021, goes into screen saver and won't come out. I cannot do anything but reboot the laptop. I have the screen saver turned off in settings. Anybody have a workaround or is this just another garbage product from Apple?

If you have multiple user accounts, try removing all but the main admin.

This is a Big Sur issue I think. It happened on my Mac Mini (which I ended up returning) while I was on the phone with Apple explaining a different issue I had with it. lol

I still have this problem on my mac mini, when I vnc connect to it. Has anyone found a solution for this yet? I have multiple login disabled
