Anyone else experience the problem of the screen separating from the body of the watch? I noticed earlier today. I've used it for running so I'm sure its been exposed to quite a bit of sweat. And it's never been submerged or exposed to water. I spoke with apple support and I have to send it in for repair. I'm bummed.

Of course since it is a manufacture defect. Why would you think otherwise?

As much as I believe/know it's a manufacturing defect, I have no control or input on that determination. That just makes me a bit nervous about the process. Hopefully I won't be told to read the manual on how to wear the watch properly to avoid this issue

Thanks again for your responses. I appreciate them.

Same thing happened to my 42mm SS about a month ago. Took it into the Apple Store and they swapped it out for a new one.

Yes, I had the same issue after just 2 weeks. Apple replaced it, no questions asked.

seems crazy they wouldn't just swap this on the spot. Is there no Apple Store near you, OP? Is that why you have to send it back?

The nearest store is more than a hour away from where I live. So that's why I called apple support. Knowing that bringing it to a store might get it immediately replaced is tempting. Also, I went back to using my old pebble and it's really making me miss my apple watch.

Not necessarily. Many can't get a same-day replacement because Apple has chosen not to stock them, at least not yet.

They're not stocking white box replacements for the AW (unlike other iDevices to date). Hope they don't do the same with the new iPhone 6s/6s+.

Depends on the store; they're offering them but looks like it's only at super high volume stores right now (one store in my area has white-box replacements while another doesn't).

True, and only for certain models. They're not stocking them across the board. That's why I wrote "not necessarily."

Just press "0". ;)

I just tried that and it didn't get me to a store employee. The automated system seemed to ignore the 0 presses. Anyway, I had to go thru the prompts and speak to someone that supports the store but wasn't physically at the store. And that person had to transfer me to someone else. That someone else had to call...and of course they (people at the store) didn't answer. I'm just going to mail it in and see what happens.

They wouldn't say that. Apple isn't Samsung, who just told people to read the manual if they got the S Pen stuck from putting it in backwards on the new Note 5.

Yep, I know. It was a total dig at Samsung :)
