Screen Sharing grayed out??

So I can't share my screen with my buddies that also have MBPs, newest generation.

I've looked online and it says to enable the option in the video dropmenu in ichat but that is also faded out.

Help?

Check System Preferences -> Sharing. Make sure Screen Sharing is enabled there.
