Hi everybody... I need some help.
I have an iMac running Snow Leopard here at home and one of my best friends just bought his first Mac (iMac) yesterday. He lives three hours away and I want to help him along and set his system up for him and walk him through stuff via "screen sharing". He is connected at home to a wired internet service through DSL in his area. I have had him enable screen sharing in his sharing preferences but his ip address is only a local address (192.168.0.3). I have no idea how to connect to him to take remote control of his iMac. Could someone point me in the right direction? I want to do this for free and not pay for some program to make it happen.
Thanks in advance.
