    Hello,

I'm trying to share my laptop screen (Windows 7) on my iMac using the build in Sharing screen app of Lion 10.7.2. Unfortunately, I keep having an infinite screen of OSX instead of seven (see picture below). Any help would be more than welcome.

It looks like you're sharing the Mac's screen with itself, which is why you get the inception effect.

No idea how you managed to do it, or how to fix it... But it looks damn cool.

Have you got screen sharing (hosting) off on your Mac?

Either you've got the IP address wrong, or the router is doing something funky.

I think it's the routeur but as weird as it sounds, it works with RealVNC ... with the exact same IP adresses as for the first configuration using the apple screen sharing app.

So at some point the problem is solved but I had to install another software.
