Do we have any applicaton or tool readily available on Mac for taking screen shot.
These screen shots I want to use for documenting my application.

Need help.

Regards,
Satyam.

It is built-in to the OS. Try,

Command+Option+4 (for rectangle tool selection)
Command+Option+4, then Space, then click on the window you want.
Command+Option+3 captures the entire screen.

Enjoy!

I have not had any of those keystrokes work for me in Leopard. I wonder if my KVM blocks them from being run. Everything else works fine, but none of those have ever worked.

So, I'm using a Dashboard Widget called Screenshot Plus 3.0, and it works fantastically.

I think it's actually Command+Shift rather than Option. I didn't know about the window shot with space bar, so thanks for that!

Post removed because the software I pointed to has not been released and the OP specified something readily available.
