How can a capture a screen shot of google to paste into my blog?

Screenshots on the Mac are controlled by using the following...

Command+Shift+3 does the whole screen

Command+Shift+4 allows you take a section of the screen

You can get a window or other area by doing Command+Shift+4 and then hitting the space bar.

I think the "Control" key does pretty much the same thing as the Command key, so try doing it with the Control key.

ON EDIT: If not the Control key, maybe try the "Windows" key.

Look in your Mac's Applications folder. There is a folder there named Utilities. Open that, then launch the application in there named Grab.app. It will let you capture a selection, window, or the whole screen using menu choices.

One of the cutest little OS X apps EVAR. It integrates screenshot taking with simple (but very nice looking) markup tools, easy crop/resize, and webhosting as well. Love this app....
