Screen shows: "Temperature - Iphone needs to cool down before you can use it"

This screen popped up on my phone after I have NOT been using it and picked it up off my COLD desk.....wtf

The same.
I put it in my pocket,then this screen pop up.

I got this message. iPhone4 is normal temp.

I also got some text in French ????? This did not look like a 'normal' iPhone function.

I thought my phone had been hacked somehow, so I immediately shut it down.

Upon restart things seem fine ... that was freaky....

Hi,

While i was using AIM app through 3G, I noticed the iPhone 3G 8Gb became very hot. Similar like having a macbookpro on your lap. I was wondering what was going on.

Then all of a sudden, I got a black screen with a yellow triangle sign with the text: Temperature - Iphone needs to cool down before you can use it.

I could slide to do emergency call only...

Did anyone had a similar experience?

I was only using 3G for 10 minutes !

I cannot believe this.

I have an iPhone 4 and it's been doing the same thing while I charge it. Idk what to do!
