Hi,

I think the new screen sizing/scaling tool as used on the MacBook Pro Retina is quite interesting:

Will this also be available on other macs ? For example, supposing I have a Mac Mini hooked up to a 1280x1024 screen (I know, it's an old one). I would like to use it in simulated 1600x1200 mode with OSX rendering everything and downscaling to the native resolution of my screen (like simulated 1680x1050 mode on the MBPR).

Will this be possible ? If yes, from which OSX version ?

Thanks,

Peter.

Hmm, it seems like nobody knows this. I can imagine, it's quite a new feature :)

Another question: is it possible to upgrade from Snow Leopard to Moutain Lion directly, or should I get Lion first ?

Thanks,

Peter.

You can upgrade directly from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
