I have what seems to be a 'dead' iPhone screen. The screen itself isn't dead, but the phone cannot be 'awoken' from sleep mode by the home or power buttons. If I plug it into my MB or wall charger, everything is fine, the screen comes back on and I can use it until it goes back into sleep mode, then I am locked out.

This phone is less than a month old, has never been dropped, wet, scratched, nothing! I've treated it with kid gloves since the second I got it! Any ideas? I'm sure it is covered under warranty, but I just want it working right. Almost makes me a little nervous.

Have you tried doing a Software Restore from iTunes?

Not yet. I'll try that now. Thanks. BTW this is a non-jailbroken phone, just as Apple intended it. :D

That fixed it, thanks TEG!

Any idea what might have caused it to do that?
