This is driving me nuts. Does anyone know how and why these numbers are different? How can one be higher and/or lower than the other on different days? Aren’t they both counting the same thing basically? Mine are always off from each other at the end of the day. Sometimes the screentime is higher and sometimes the screen on time in battery is higher. Anyone think they know what’s going on? How is one counting the screen on time defferently than the other?

They count by the hour as well. The whole overhaul is confusing and frustrating due to the loss of the old way in iOS 11.

I have never been able to figure out what this stuff is. I'm just choosing to pretend it's not there anymore.

It’s also counting notifications as pickups too when I’m not even picking up and unlocking my phone. I wish we could get a better explainer from Apple on how exactly all this new stuff actually works.

Screen time is buggy for me, at least on my iPad with the Infuse Pro app. I watched a 2 hour movie, and after that Screen Time said I had used my iPad for 30 minutes. "Almost right", I guess...
