Hi,

So I've got myself a MacBook Pro late 2013 model here. I've been aware that one of my issues has already been logged before but I'm experiencing another which I'm struggling to find another.

So the first issue has been a bright white mark on the screen, been there for a while but is slowly beginning to spread. But I've now been experiencing another issue. Basically when I've been on something with a bright background and a dark border and then I go directly to a page with a completely light background, the previous page is still there faintly. It's as if the previous page has been layered over the current with an opacity of about 10%. It will slowly fade with time but it is becoming a slight irritant. Has anybody else experienced this? Plus will these require me to get a new machine??

Appreciate any responses, thanks!

You have image retention.
Being a late 2013 model it is still covered by AppleCare so take it in, they should replace the screen.
