Screen turns on when adjusting volume??

I this a glitch on its 6 or can you change it via settings it's driving me crazy

Basically the screen is off but music is playing and I go to turn down the music via the button s on the side of the phone and one click and the phone turns on

It was doing this for me in b1 but not b2.

Same here, did this for me in iOS 6 b1 but just tried it on b2 on both silent and audible and nothing.

edit: nevermind, if music is playing and the screen is off, it does turn on while adjusting the volume.

Same here. I loved it in beta-1, but it's no longer present in beta-2.
