Hello, I’m a newbie let me pre-apologize if I do something wrong. I have a MacBook El Capitan. I love the ease of it. I stepped on the MacBook in its case now a part of the screen doesn’t work. Is it worth fixing? I feel like it’s going to be an expensive repair? Please help

It is an El Capitan. My daughter gave it to me. It has a brand new battery. I can’t afford a new one but not sure if it’s worth fixing. I love it tho. I understand it. Thank you for your reply
