Screensaver Won't Lock Anymore

Hello

My Mac wont lock anymore.... It used to have the screensaver go on, then it prompted you to enter login info to unlock it

The checkbox under screensaver is checked for this, but it doesnt work... any help?

I believe the actual option to prompt for a password when returning from the screensaver is under the Security pane of System preferences, so I'd check there if you haven't already done so.
