What app can I use to screenshare my iPhone to my smart TV without an Apple TV?

I am trying to stream NHL games on my TV. My Surface connects to my TV, but it lags and doesn’t load the stream. Thanks for your help.

Haven't thought about that. Would have to order one from Amazon. Anything I could do wirelessly through a 3rd party app though?

If you have a recent “smart tv” it may have an app that is Dlna compliant. There may be a third party app on the App Store.

see if the app had chromecast support. I really love chromecast way more than apple’s technology. I use it to sling content to the tv such as YouTube and Netflix. Lots of apps have it built in. You will have to buy a chromecast stick or roku, but they’re $30 and one will find that it’s a better experience browsing for content that way imho. What every you choose it’s near instant response on what shows on the tv.
