screenshot capture kb shortcut

    i saw on the internet awhile ago on kb shortcuts to take a snapshot of what's on your screen using a kb shortcut. does anyone know what the shortcuts are ?

    Under Utilities-->Grab. That should be what your looking for.

    shift + command + 4 and you can select whatever you want on the screen to capture.

    way easier to just set it from the keyboard shortcuts in the system prefs.

    I have mine set to F13 - that gives me a reticle that I can drag and copy to clipboard.

    If I do shift-F13, its the same reticle but saves it as a PNG on the desktop.
