Sean Dempsey macrumors 68000 Sep 5, 2007 #4 way easier to just set it from the keyboard shortcuts in the system prefs. I have mine set to F13 - that gives me a reticle that I can drag and copy to clipboard. If I do shift-F13, its the same reticle but saves it as a PNG on the desktop.
