Good evening everybody I was wondering if someone could assist me I just updated my iPads to iPadOS 26.4.1 and I was attempting to take some screenshots of some webpages and convert them to PDFs for me to read and I’ve noticed that since updating to 26.4.1 the option to save as a screenshot or to save as a full page has been removed from my tablets at the very least, which is making it difficult for me to save webpages as PDF documents. I was wondering if anybody was having similar difficulties and if so, could you suggest a workaround for this problem? Thank everybody for their time.

There’s a Make PDF option in the screenshot share menu; maybe it could help 🤷‍♂️

The option to save as a full page is at the top of the screen, just right of center, and appears to work fine.

Seems to work here… you do not get the upper bar when tapping on the screenshot preview after taking it? I then select »Full Page« as shown, and save without problems as a PDF via the Share-menu.

Yeah the screen and full page tab isn’t coming up for me for whatever reason but I’ll try the other suggestions everyone made. It’s just irritating because this is how I normally saved my reports online. Nevertheless thank you everyone who came to assist me

Creating a PDF from the print command on an iPad involves using the "pinch-to-zoom" gesture on the print preview screen, which acts as a hidden "Save as PDF" feature. This works for webpages, documents, and images
Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Open the item: Open the webpage in Safari, a photo, or the document you want to convert.
  2. Tap Share: Tap the Share button (box with an upward arrow).
  3. Select Print: Scroll down and tap Print.
  4. Create PDF (The "Pinch" Method):
    • On the print preview screen, place two fingers on the preview image and pinch out (zoom in).
    • This action converts the document into a PDF.
  5. Save or Share:
    • Tap the Share button again (now in the top right or bottom corner).
    • Select Save to Files to save to your iPad/iCloud, or send it via email/apps.
Alternative Method (Safari)
If you are in Safari, you can sometimes bypass the print menu for a faster save:
  1. Tap Share > Options (under the webpage title).
  2. Select PDF and tap Done.
  3. Choose Save to FileS
Key Tips
  • No Printer Needed: You do not need an AirPrint printer connected for this to work.
  • Hidden PDF Feature: The print preview acts as a PDF generator. Pinching out converts the print job to a PDF file format.
  • Webpages: To save a full webpage, ensure you use the Print method or select "Full Page" after taking a screenshot, then share as PDF

Another way to do it is to use the share menu in the print dialog; the option to save to Files is right there and it creates a PDF

I’d like to thank everybody for their assistance, helping me in this matter. It’s been quite informative and very helpful to me. One thing that I just noticed recently however was that when I tried to screenshot and convert a website to a PDF on my Google Chrome browser along with my Firefox browser it works just fine so it seems to be a problem with Safari on my tablet. I reached out to Apple Support and they confirmed that other people are having a similar issue so hopefully it get’s fixed with the next update. But I’d like to thank everybody once again for their help in this matter.
