Am I the only one using an iPhone 6 Plus having problems taking screenshots?
I mean, I've been taking screenshots since it's been possible with the iPhone, but with my 6 Plus, it's like I'm not doing it properly since it always goes in sleep mode instead of taking a screenshot.

Do you have the same problem or it's an isolated bug on my phone?

Did you try an iTunes restore?

Before you do that... I think you should press the power and home button until the phone restarts. Once it does and the screenshots don't work then try the restore.

Good luck!

I found that the trick is to press them sequentially, with the lock button slightly before the home button. Not like it was on my 4S where I pressed them at exactly the same time.

Wow, sounds a little bit weird. This problem does not occur on my iPhone 6. Maybe you can use the Assistive Touch to do the screenshot. To do it, just enable Assistive Touch on your iPhone 6 Plus and then press its icon and tap "Device > More > Screenshot", then your screenshot will be saved in your Camera Roll. Or you can display your iPhone 6 screen on PC with phone manager and then click the screenshot button to take iPhone 6 screenshot.

This is what I have to do. Took me awhile to learn this habit because doing both at the same time would lock the phone. Frustrating.

I have used Assistive Touch for the past three years, so screenshots are easy peasy.
