One thing I have learned from crowdfunding, they over promise, under deliver, and never deliver on time.
Agreed.

I am betting AirPower may see the light of day sooner than this crowd funded project. The founders do not have any crowd funding history, nor actual known business experience.

I have not seen anything on their page stating this will be released in 2020. Could you please show me where you got that info?

Thanks

Sorry - just my pessimism shining through. After participating in a few, and watching many, crowdfunded projects on Kickstarter and IndieGogo - I’ve noticed a pattern. The majority way over promise on delivery. Seems like the average is an extra year beyond what they say as far as shipments to backers.

What would be an alternative to this? A fast charging stand that can charge atleast three devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, airpods with wireless charging case)

Uh.... Apple is a "known company" and their Airpower mat is nowhere to be seen a year after announcement.

We all know Apple dropped the ball with AirPower.

Can you tell me what credibility Wyrex founders bring to the table? I googled their names and came up empty.

And the image of them crowding over MacBook Air to design their product doesn't lend much confidence, not to mention super low quality images and animated GIF. I am not saying MacBook Air isn't capable of doing work, but it leads me to think that they do not have much capital to do quality work.

I only buy from third-party companies that work with Apple designing their products such as Belkin, mophie, Logitech, Twelve South. I still hope AirPower sees the light of day though...
