Hi, my MBP's monitor is somehow screwed up, and I was wondering if there was an app that could change the displacement of the screen so it fits in this broken screen!

Thanks!

Also, although I cannot check, it seems like the search button has disappeared along with date.

Most likely software issue. Try changing resolution.

No, it seems like a hardware problem. Perhaps my sister dropped it or something while I was away.

It definitely is a hardware issue.

There is no such app that changes the resolution to my desired status and actually displacing it wherever I want?

A rop will definitely not show that type of display. A drop either cracks the LCD display making it not viewable. Furthermore, a drop will likely leave a dent behind.

This is not hardware.

okay. When I first spotted the issue, it was showing the opposite colours in that area, and when I touch the screen, it would change a bit, and with a few small hits, it would be normal for a little while.

Then, it got worse, it is blacked out now. It seems like hardware.

What I am trying to do is as described in the picture:

The red square is lit up. You can see the pixels are on making a black color. In other words, the display works there. So no, this is not hardware.

Move the Safari windows around. Explain what happens.
