Hey guys,

I was hoping that I could get a bit of help trying to fix my mac. Basically I was trying to dual boot with Ubuntu and it went very wrong!

For some reason when I select run ubuntu is doesn't work, so I thought I would delete the partition and reinstall. However boot camp assistant isn't working and neither is disk utility.

When I run boot camp assistant I get the message

"Boot Camp Assistant cannot be used.
You must update your system software before using this setup assistant."

I have a fully updated system so I can't do anything about that.

When I try to erase using disk utility, it shows 5 different partitions that I can't erase.

When trying to erase I get the error message

"
Disk Utility internal error

Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility."

Any help would be ace, thanks!
