Newer MBPs use a size #00 Phillips head.

G Gaogier macrumors regular Original poster Nov 23, 2011 #3 Thanks, all tight again... tight as I dare... I can't work out if things are too tight so I over tighten and rip the heads. So I just used 2 fingers and my thumb. 😀

My question, can I tighten them without void the apple care? Click to expand... Yes, but they need some Loctite - the blue kind the lets you remove them later. That's what Apple uses on them.
