Hi,

I have the 2011 model of the MacBook Pro 15" and I keep having to do the srews up on the bottom as they keep coming un-done. I have recently had the top case replaced as it was faulty and not it keeps doing this.

Anyone else having issues?

Both my brother and I have this problem also! Once a month or two I have to go back and retighten the screws, or risk losing them. Not a huge deal, but definitely an annoyance.

Could try the blue locktite, as this is the type of usage it is developed for.

I observe that on my MBP first Unibody. One screw often get loose and if I don't watch easy lost. The problem with screw them back: if done too tight you might screw up the screw.

I lost one already and haven't even replaced it for a few months now. I'm getting a new machine soon anyway.

I recommend the Loctite Blue 242, do not use the Red 271 or any red variety or you will never get those little screws out. Green will also not work for you application.
