    Hi all,

I recently bought a Mac Mini off eBay and well, long story short it was missing some parts (just about everything but the logic board and power supply). On the bright side, it's still under Applecare, which was surprising.

I've ordered replacement parts (bottom cover, hard drive cable, fan, etc.) but none of the parts come with any screws. So I'm trying to find the sizes that I'll need so I can finish this thing. I've tried looking and PowerBook Medic normally sells a pack of screws but they're not in stock.

If any of you know the sizes I'll need, I really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Did you contact PowerBook Medic? (or iFixit?) For the right price, a similar kit might help you to get started.

I thought that a busted "For Parts Only" 2012 would be a good option for you but there was nothing promising on eBay just now. One 2012 was listed but the seller offered it with a reserve of $200 without memory or HDD. That is a lot of money for an incomplete screw set and a busted logic board.

Yeah, that's what I paid on eBay for this one. I did contact PowerBook Medic (and bought some parts off them) but they never replied.

I just tried booting this thing up now that I have brand new ram and a Samsung SSD. I get a single beep every five seconds which indicates it can't detect the ram. It's brand new Crucial PC3-12800 at 1.35V so it should work fine.
