Screws on Bottom?

Has anyone unscrewed the screws on the bottom on the iPhone 3G yet? I noticed the screws in some pictures. What do they lead to? I would have already done it myself but my iPhone doesn't get in until monday.😡

Try looking around ifixit.com and see if you find anything out. I'm also wondering this.
