Screwy Trash behavior

Why is it now taking so long to empty the trash? I tested it with an untitled, empty folder. Almost 10 seconds — and it says it's deleting multiple files. 😕

I've repaired permissions and I've run FSCK in single-user mode.

Any other ideas?

Never mind. I just logged out and logged back in and now it's working properly.
