I have been having a problem for the past month or more where Scribble will not work when trying to send texts or emails, yet the screen still functions and I can send emojis and access all the actions on the screen outside of the scribble area of the screen. My watch is up to date, has never had any damage and I have not installed any new apps in months. I have reset the watch, restarted it but it does not "fix" the issue. The scribble function will just start working again on its own.

Mine too. A bug that will be addressed in the next update. What I do is hit the mic icon then cancel it. Open the message back up and scribble away
I have had this happen from time to time. If you open the reply screen and the scribble area is dark, swipe down from the top of the screen and there is a scribble button. Hit that and it will enable it again. It seems to be off/on on a per thread basis.
