Scribble on iPadOS14 doesn't work in Notes

I downloaded the Public Beta 2 yesterday. Scribble works fine in the text fields, however it is not working in Notes. I have seen several demos of Scribble being used in Notes. I checked through the Beta info and there is no mention of Scribble not working in some apps.Is anyone else having this issue or should I just put it down to this being a beta and wait for it to be fixed?

I also installed the public beta when it became available and it works for me. Might just be a weird bug? You have to select the pencil with an “A” on it to start scribble though.

If you want to make use of snap to shape feature, you need to select the black 97 point pencil (second from the left).

Not for me. It works for all of them on here. Pen, Pencil, and highlighter.

That is odd. Maybe it is a bug.

I just installed iPadOS 14 PB2 on my iPad Pro and Scribble just does not exist at all. it's nowhere to be seen in the Pencil settings, Notes or anywhere ...

EDIT : you have to activate the english keyboard even if you dont use it. Anyways Scribble is not that good compared to Nebo

I have heard of Nebo before but never tried it. Seeing your post got me to download Nebo and try it. It does work better than Scribble in Apple Notes. It also has a lot more features that make using it much easier. Thanks for mentioning it.

I'm glad to hear it. I have Nebo and I like it a lot. I got Scribble to work in Notes by choosing the pen icon with the A on it. I wish Apple had made that clearer earlier.
