Script to exclude drive from Spotlight?

Just wondering if anyone knows how to create a script to add a drive to Spotlights exclusion (privacy) list?

Every time I create a clone of my Data drive to Backup, Backup removes itself from Spotlights exclusion list. I'd like to have a script that can run on backup completion that adds it back to the exclude list.

Any ideas?
