Ok I have a friend that has excel on their Mac Mini with a standard (apple bluetooth) keyboard
and for some reason when they are clicking the arrow keys rather than just move one cell in that direction the whole screen moves
I suggest it may be scroll lock is somehow turned on
how do you turn this off
is there a quick key combo?

It's F14. If F14 is assigned to screen brightness on that Mac, try shift-F14.

There is a SCRL indicator at the bottom of Excel windows to show if it is on or off.

No Scroll Lock on MacBook Pro

I'm on a MacBook Pro and no key combination seems to turn off scroll lock. I don't have another keyboard to plug in, so that I can hit F14. My F keys are F1-F12.

I've tried Command F4 (that closes)

fn F1 (nothing)

F10, F11, F12 all with and without the fn key (after disabling Exposé)

I can't find an icon in Excel to turn off Scroll Lock

This is driving me NUTS! I need to hit my arrow keys to change cells and nothing works! I've even tried Editing Excel's keyboard shortcuts, nothing.
