My iPhone X frequently scrolls to the top of the App I am in when I accidentally, ever so slightly touch one of the top two ears/antennas (either side of the notch).

I hold the phone from the top when I am sitting or lying down, so it happens all the time. It is even scrolls up when I rest the phone face down on my chest. So, if I am reading a long article, I have to scroll back down and find where I left off 2 or 3 times.

Is anyone else experiencing this? There does not seem to be an option to turn this off or change it to a double tap, which would make more sense.

I figured as much. To me, it is poor design for the X. With an edge to edge display, why make a single tap in an app do anything?

I find it to be quite a handy feature actually

Same, I use it all the time.

Took me forever to figure out that the reverse works in the Photos app --> clicking the time at the top goes to the top of the list. Clicking photos icon on the bottom goes all the way to the bottom. Just wish it would do that in all the apps. lol.

Yeah, I definitely seem to be in the minority. I guess I have to change the way I hold the phone and not rest my phone face down on my chest. A setting for a double tap would be nice with the single tap being the default.

This is nothing new, does it with all iPhones which I find quite handy.

I found it handy as well on iPhones prior to the X where the top part of the screen is not part of the display (touching the top didn't do anything).

Goes to the top of my feed in TweetBot without having to swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe... very nice

And if you're at a particular tweet and touch the status bar to go back to the top, double-tapping the status bar will take you back to the same tweet.
