Scroll wheel on the new remote not really working

Anyone else running into this? Trying to use the “scroll wheel” functionality on the new remote and it jumps back and forth, instead of properly scrolling. Like it seeing touch elsewhere on it or something. Normal touch use with it works like normal as does click button functionality.

Right--I noticed that too. It doesn't work the way the one on the old iPod did. I haven't got it in front of me, but as I remember it goes forward from 9-3 o'clock (l. to r.) and starts going backward again once you pass 3. Annoying and counter-intuitive.

Exactly and nothing like they showed during the event last month.
