Nice work, Sculley, you are tremendous

oh john go home !!
and stay there !

bidding via a mobile on eBay ..well at least we can trust on good ole Jobs for a tastier announcement even if it wasn't world shattering it had more movement then this ... still makes me laugh when i think about all the speculations re either announcement but as per usual Mr mighty Jobs was and is the clear winna :)

Go MAC go MAC go MAC Go john go home !!

Nice interface

Not really an "earth-shattering" announcement, but useful (for people who actually USE eBay).

Off the point, I just noticed the new MacRumors interface. Each story with it's own maroon header and grey info box. Nice.

yeah, I think this topic is more interesting than this Scully announcement!
The new MacRumors interface look pretty good to. you know, I've visited Thinksecret, Spymac (don't trust them!), etc. etc. but Macrumors' frontpage is the easiest to look at and access. It's simple, but good, just like Apple's stuff.

Very soon, there will be a site called, macrumorsrumors.com, where people will speculate about the new design, topics, announcements, ... of MacRumors...
Off course, the administrators will try their best to keep everything a secret till the very last second.

That would be just like Apple's stuff ;)

k.

Good Golly people

As far as I know, it was only Think Secret that said Sculley was making a big announcement. So they may have over-hyped it. Rumor sites are Rumor sites.

I actually was a little dissapointed with the eMac and Quicktime 6 Preview announcements. Think Secret got me thinking it was going to be something bigger. But rumors are rumors so no big deal.

After actually seeing one of the eMacs at the Apple store, I'm very impressed. And was there a public announcement from Apple, or did the stuff just become available. We also got OSX.1.5. Overall, Apple's new stuff outdid Sculley's by far. Such a small niche for the eBay thing. And ThinkSecret did sort of hype it, maybe they were sold on the idea, who knows....

I just can't help but be totally underwhelmed by that announcement though.

I mean really... this is barely even news... and they aren't the first ones to come up with a remove eBay bidding system, nor will they likely be the first to bring it to market.

Wow......

Hey everybody, I have a MAJOR announcement of my own.... I took a dump earlier today............ yeah........ that's about as exciting as the Sculley announcement if you ask ME!

I have a major announcement....

The sun will rise in the morning.... good greif... Sculley will never get the technology thing....
