Anyone found a decent dongle/cable from the SD card slot in the back of the iMac to the front for ease of use (vs. reaching around and feeling for the slot each time)?

I just use a USB 3.0 memory card reader for SD and compact flash (I use RAW STEEL UDMA Reader with a very short cable).

    What you want is:
    - a USB3 card reader
    and
    - a USB male-to-female "extension" cable, like this:
    http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-3-0-Extension-Cable/dp/B00NH13UFQ

When you're not using the card reader, you can use the "extended" USB3 port however you wish...
